A middle-aged woman from a tax consulting firm called, claiming to be following up on a tax refund pamphlet they sent. When I tried to ask for more information, she wouldn't let me finish speaking and kept talking over me. It seems they're using information from the justice bureau to make sales calls. Is this really what tax consulting firms are doing these days? It's frustrating to deal with during work hours.
