Ekspertvurdering
Verify caller identities before sharing info. Most reports flag this number as a scam impersonating AGL, an Australian energy provider, with callers using accents to push fake bill reductions or discounts while probing for personal details like names, emails, and account info. Legitimate companies rarely request sensitive data unsolicited—always hang up and contact the real AGL directly via their official app or website. Block the number to curb persistent calls, which often end abruptly or play hold music. Report to authorities like the ACCC for broader protection. If it's genuine, they'd leave a clear voicemail or use verified channels.

Be careful peoples, AGL scam caller had alot of my details and wanted more
The call was marked as a scam, and they didn't leave a message, which is a clear sign that it's a scam, and you shouldn't bother with it.

The caller ID explicitly stated 'SCAM!', and no message was left, leading me to believe that this was indeed a scam call due to the lack of any genuine communication attempt.
Upon receiving the call, it became apparent that the caller was pretending to be AGL, but when I contacted the actual AGL number, they denied any involvement, and the caller was seeking personal information, which I refused to provide.
