Názor odborníka
In Sydney's bustling afternoon hours, reports highlight persistent scam calls mimicking tech support. These fraudsters, often from overseas call centers, impersonate Microsoft to instill fear about computer viruses or hacks, aiming to extract remote access or payments. Hang up immediately if you receive such calls—never share personal details or allow screen control. Block the number and report to authorities like the ACCC to curb these threats. Enable call screening on your phone for added protection, and consider using apps that flag suspicious callers. Stay vigilant; legitimate companies rarely cold-call for urgent fixes.
