On two separate occasions, the caller rang my home but remained silent upon answering. When I attempted to call back, the number was disconnected. However, they called again, addressing me by my first name, and an Indian man claimed to represent a government company, inquiring about my location and offering to replace LED lights. I ended the call, recognizing the suspicious behavior.

A caller claimed to be from the Australian Tax Office and requested personal information.

The caller, identifying as Apu, exhibited unusual behavior, prioritizing discussions about the recipient's mother over the purported purpose of the call, which was allegedly related to tax matters, and displayed an unprofessional demeanor.

These kind of calls is getting on my nerves

The caller claimed to be from the taxation office, and said I was going to jail, but I didnt beleive them

Those scammers are very annoying, they call me and dont say anythin, i added this number to my block list, im tired of it

In my oppinion, the Federal Government should take action to prevent these scammers from targeting vulnerable Australians, they can easily change the “Caller ID” to make it look like a local number, the USA has allready taken similar measures
