NatWest scam alert – what to do next? - +44 800 015 7120 (0800 015 7120)

Someone from this number insisted they were from NatWest, but their inquiries revealed it was a scam. I hung up, yet they called back thrice before I blocked them!

After dialling the number printed on the back of my credit card to request a new card, I was transferred to multiple individuals and subjected to a series of security questions, including my address, email, phone number, and partial PIN; it was only when I was asked to contact another number for further verification that my suspicions were aroused, prompting me to investigate further on this website.

A text arrived, supposedly from Nat West. After verifying online, it appears to be fraudulent.

Definitely a scam. After a short conversation, they sent me texts and emails. The NatWest Fraud Team would never email customers.

Received a fraudulent text from this number, and if you call it, there's a recording requesting your account number and sort code. This is a scam and not from NATWEST bank. It's quite perilous and could easily be confused with a genuine message from your bank.

Following a series of warm-up calls and a text message from this number posing as NatWestGrp, I lost £700, with £550 since refunded by NatWest, but the remaining amount is still in dispute.

Instead of a call, a text message was received claiming unusual activity on my mobile banking app.

Be cautious of this number as it's likely a scam, however it's also possible it could be a genuine call from your bank, so always verify by calling the number on your card, dont even confirm your name to the caller though

Claiming to represent the Royal Bank of Scotland's fraud team, this appears to be a sophisticated scam with multiple calls over two days. When I contacted the bank, they had no record of this, indicating I had been conversing with a scammer all along.

Scam related to online banking.

A text message purporting to be from Nat West was received from this number, but it's a scam, as the actual sender is able to disguise the number to appear as the bank's - a reminder to always contact banks through official channels.

I dialled this number as I was locked out of my mobile banking. It instructed me to call this number! They requested my account number and sort code, which clearly indicates they are criminals attempting to breach my bank account!
