A code was sent from my Facebook to my WhatsApp, allowing them to access my account whenever I try to change my password!

A WhatsApp message containing a 6‑digit code was sent for a hacked Facebook account.

The scammers attached their WhatsApp number to my Facebook profile, which then blocked my access.

Receiving Facebook reset codes without any context or explanation has left the recipient perplexed.

Scammers falsely claiming to be from Facebook codes.

I was on WhatsApp, and then a Facebook Code appeard out of nowhere, told me to use it to activate my Facebook account, but I dont have a Facebook account on this tablet, or this mobile number, must be a scam, I reported it on WhatsApp and blocked the number

On WhatsApp, it claims to be Facebook, which immediately suggests a scam. However, upon investigating the account, it shows as a business account, not Facebook. They send codes in languages I don't understand.
