Opinione dell’esperto
Always hang up immediately on unsolicited calls claiming you initiated contact, especially if you know it's false. This tactic often preys on confusion to extract personal details or build trust for a scam. Verify caller identity independently by looking up the business online or calling back through official channels—never use the number provided. Report suspicious calls to Action Fraud in the UK to help track patterns. If it's a builder cold-calling for work, demand they stop and add the number to your phone's block list. Stay vigilant; these approaches can escalate to more aggressive pitches.
