HSBC fraud alert scam – how to spot it! - +44 7860 031407 (07860 031407)

A message claiming to be from the HSBC Fraud Department was received from this number.

A text claimed to be from HSBC’s fraud team, warning of a suspicious attempt on my account and threatening to block my card. It almost fooled me, but they demanded too much info, so I hung up.

This appears to be a scam.

They claimed to be from HSBC, warning me about a fraudulant transaction on my card, but I didnt reply, I think its a scam.

Looks like a scam pretending to be the HSBC fraud squad, warning of alleged fraudulent transactions and demanding a reply to verify or risk card cancellation.

Definitely a scam pretending to be from HSBC's fraud team, mentioning possible fraudulent activity and asking to verify details or else my card might be cancelled.
