Ignore this call – it’s almost certainly a scam. The number keeps ringing, often with a foreign accent, and pretends you’re due a big PPI refund, a benefit boost or a new heating system, then asks for bank details, DOB or other personal data. These are classic social engineering tricks to steal money or identity. Hang up straight away, never share information, and add the number to your block list. Report the call to Action Fraud and register the number on the Telephone Preference Service. Stay sceptical and keep your details safe.
