Ekspertvurdering
Reports consistently highlight abrupt hang-ups and unsolicited pitches linked to TikTok job offers, often requiring upfront payments like £8 for WhatsApp details. This pattern aligns with common scam tactics in telecom, where fraudsters exploit social media brands to lure victims into financial traps. Call volumes from such numbers spike around peak hours, preying on job seekers. Practical advice: Never share money or personal info; block and report to your provider or Action Fraud. Verify opportunities directly via official channels to sidestep these phishing ploys. Staying vigilant cuts risks considerably.
