A woman with a foreign accent, possibly Indian, claimed to represent Google. Uncertain about the authenticity as no verification was provided. She asked about my business location and visitor numbers, making me cautious about potential follow-up calls.
Claimed to be from Google seeking to verify my business number. Refused to provide callback details or verification methods, raising suspicions of a scam.
They claimed to be from Google while I was setting up a new Google Business email, but it wasn’t evident if someone had intercepted my actions to deceive me, so I will label this as UNKNOWN, as there's no way to verify it through a lookup.
A private mobile caller claimed to be from Google Maps verifying my business address. When I suggested calling Google, she said it wasn’t possible due to a one-way system. It seemed suspicious since Google wouldn’t use a mobile for such purposes.
Although the caller claimed to be from Google, I found it suspicious that they were using a mobile number and I couldn't verify the number's authenticity, so I proceeded with caution
