I was called this morning on my mobile, but the line dropped as soon as I picked up – it felt shady, especially after the recent flood of bogus calls from abroad, notably Somalia.
After a long pause a foreign accent spoke, but there was no callback – I never share my number, so this must be another random scammer.

A female voice with an African accent was heard over a call‑centre background; when I asked about the call it cut off.
An Indian‑accented voice claimed to be from TikTok and offered free items for a review, demanding my name, address and date of birth, despite the +44 number – clearly a scam as I avoid social media for this reason.
Looks like a scam.
