Just another spam call.
Got a Google spam call – I asked them to pull my business off their scam list, now I’m bombarded with 5‑20 emails or calls a day about Google, it’s boring now, lol.
Like the earlier reports, I called back and spoke to a representative who said they were from a tech department and that Google had flagged my business for inactivity, threatening suspension unless I paid. He insisted there would be a charge, I refused, and he warned the listing would be suspended anyway. It was clearly an Indian call centre trying to swindle, so avoid giving any details or money.

The call dropped as soon as I answered; when I called back I heard music, a pause, then a scripted response about a tech department. The agent wouldn’t say where they were calling from and talked over me, so I hung up. Clearly a foreign call centre – avoid.
