I got a call from a recorded voice claiming to be from HMRC, sounded pretty legit but I'm not sure

Over the past 30 hours, this number has called five times despite being blocked. These are data scammers and a nuisance. Avoid them at all costs.

Somebody rang me asking to speak to my ex who hasn't lived here for years, I told them to take my number off their list and they were quite polite, but I'm getting sick of these calls which are supposidly ilegal
