I had minor issues with them, but was suspicious when they requested two digits from my online banking code, so I hung up and contacted the bank. It turned out to be genuine. The background was silent, which seemed strange, but that was because the caller was working from home. Nevertheless, everything was fine, and the staff at Co-op are lovely.
