Expertenmeinung
In the quiet of early morning hours, calls from this number often hit around 8 am, disrupting routines with vague messages about personal matters tied to HMRC debts. Reports consistently flag it as a scam impersonating debt collectors, complete with foreign accents and urgent reference numbers that don't check out. Legit HMRC never demands payment this way—always verify directly through official channels like gov.uk. Hang up immediately on suspicious calls; block the number and report to Action Fraud if pressured. Don't share info or click links; these tactics prey on fear to extract details or money. Stay vigilant to protect your finances.

A company says it's dealing with an HMRC debt on my behalf.
Just like previous reports, I received a call about a personal matter. A foreign‑accented voice claimed HMRC debt, but when I checked my HMRC account I owe nothing, cheers.
Tax office debt hoax.
Posing as HMRC—definitely a scam. The caller had a pronounced Nigerian accent.
