Expertadvies
Picture this: your phone rings with a promising offer to upgrade your BT broadband, delivered in an unfamiliar accent. Such calls often masquerade as legitimate upgrades but carry hallmarks of scams, preying on trust in familiar providers like BT. The Indian-sounding voice raises red flags, as many fraudulent operations route through overseas call centres. Hang up immediately if details feel off—never share personal info or click links. Report to Action Fraud for investigation, and consider registering with the Telephone Preference Service to cut unsolicited calls. Staying vigilant shields against identity theft and financial loss.
