An individual from a company called Lowell's, claiming to be a debt recovery agency, contacted me, stating that they had acquired debts from NPower and were pursuing a debt allegedly owed by me since 2016. However, this claim is false, as I settled my account with NPower in 2016 and have not been contacted by them since. Subsequently, I received a letter from Lowell's at my new address, followed by a text message, which is concerning, as I do not know how they obtained my mobile number. I have blocked their number and advise others not to engage with them, as they appear to be scam artists.
