Turns out my wife received a text from 07928391735 claiming to be Barclays, threatening a £350 transfer to LADBROOKS unless she called 03301330378 – both numbers are scams, so I flagged them as dangerous, mate.
Received a text claiming, "Barclays: To protect you we disabled GOOGLE PAY on HAWAII 5 in SOUTHAMPTON at 11:06. If this wasn't you, call 0330 133 0378." This appears to be a scam; I'm surprised OFCOM/BT allow such numbers to be used this way.
It's a banking scam.

A text claiming to be from Barclays warned that a recent payee, Sadique Khan, had been added to my account on 05/09/2025 at 15:55 and instructed me to call 0330 133 0378 if I didn’t recognise it – clearly a scam that was reported and blocked.
Reference to Barclays Bank.
This is a scam; it is not a genuine Barclays number.
