Ekspertvurdering
Reports consistently describe unsolicited calls claiming to address reported housing issues like black mould or property complaints, often from a male voice posing as council representative. Callers hang up when pressed for details, revealing scam tactics. This pattern suggests a targeted fraud exploiting public services trust. Block the number immediately and report to Action Fraud to curb wider impacts. Never share personal info; verify official contacts via gov.uk directories. If suspicious, hang up swiftly—scammers thrive on engagement. Staying vigilant protects against identity theft or follow-up cons.
