The call was an offer from a telecom company, which proved to be a waste of time
As others have mentioned, they’re pushing you ("the business owner") to switch to their telecoms service... but they don’t even bother asking properly—they just assume you’ll change.

Upon answering, there was an initial pause before they asked for the business owner, and after being informed the owner was unavailable, they hung up.
A man with an Indian accent, claiming to be from XLN Telecom, asked for the owner of the buisness and then promissed a 20% drop in costs, which made me very nervus
