This summary involves a series of cold calls from a company claiming to be related to utility services, often under the name Utilink. The callers, such as Curtis or Jake, use aggressive and deceptive tactics to push for non-existent contracts. They frequently call multiple times a week, sometimes under different names, and can become harassing. If you receive these calls, be cautious and verify the caller's identity. If they persist, consider blocking the number and reporting them to your company. Don't fall for their tactics; they are likely scammers.

A caller claimed my energy‑bill email notifications were unanswered; when I asked which address he was using he had no idea, and he didn’t even realise he was contacting a business.
The firm UTILINK seems legitimate, offering typical energy consultancy services, registered at Companies House, but it’s a fresh company run by property developers and sits in a Sunderland business park alongside many other telemarketers.
