They talked about a loft, but the conversation was garbled and seemed like a scam.
Someone posing as an “energy advice centre” offered a free loft health‑and‑safety survey, then gave vague promises about special equipment that could detect invisible hairline cracks. They couldn’t provide a website and soon backed off. Using the genuine Energy Advice Centre name, it smells like a scam – possibly selling or removing spray insulation.
