Most of the reports point to a classic UK‑based scam calling you out of the blue, often pitching crypto‑trading or quick‑money schemes. The callers tend to hang up as soon as you answer, use broken English, and become abusive if you decline. Never share personal or banking details, and don’t click any links they mention. Let the call go to voicemail, then block the number in your phone’s settings. If the calls keep coming, report them to your carrier and to Action Fraud. Treat any unsolicited offer as phishing until proven otherwise – it’s safer not to engage.
