Opinione dell’esperto
Hang up immediately if an unknown caller mentions social housing repairs or PPI claims—it's a classic tactic to hook you into sharing details. These scammers often push for personal info like bank details or addresses, escalating if challenged. Block the number straight away and report it to Action Fraud to help curb these nuisances. Never engage or confirm any info, as it verifies your line as active. Keep caller ID on and consider registering with the Telephone Preference Service for fewer cold calls. Stay vigilant; persistence from the caller is a red flag for scams targeting vulnerable households.

This social housing repair service turned out to be a complete fraud
Just answered a call that took a few seconds for the caller to respond after I said hello multiple times. They claimed to be from social housing and hung up when I didn’t engage.
Yet another scam call, this time from someone in India, claiming to be from social housing, absolutly disgusting
