Ekspertvurdering
Have you ever picked up to a caller promising free repairs, only to realise it's a trap? These reports highlight a common scam targeting social housing owners, where fraudsters pose as repair services to extract personal details or payments. The callers falter under basic questioning, like specifics on properties, and abruptly disconnect—classic red flags. Stay vigilant: never share sensitive info over unsolicited calls; verify through official channels instead. Hang up immediately if something feels off, and report to Action Fraud to help curb these nuisances. Blocking the number is a quick win, too.

A fraudster mentioned repairs on social housing; as a landlord I asked which property, and when they couldn't answer they simply hung up.
