Despite being informed of the gentleman's terminal illness, this caller rang him yesterday, not once but three times, and again today from a different, unrecognised number, 01417242863, claiming he had requested a call and would have his debit card ready, which was entirely false.

This morning's call was disturbing as the caller pushed an elderly respondent to find his bank card despite his poor health, and after multiple calls, we're now ignoring them.

There was a significant delay before the caller spoke, and then there was a considerable amount of background noise; after wishing them a Happy New Year and implying it was a scam call, they terminated the connection - it's surprising the service provider hasn't taken action against such numbers.
A caller with an Asian accent offered a device called Medical Alert, describing it as a wearable device that alerts neighbours and family in case of a fall, with a monthly cost of £29.
It appears that these scammers are based in India and are masquerading as representatives from HOME CARE, offering unlimited call outs and replacement of white goods for a monthly fee of £26.99. They requested my bank details but were evasive when I asked for their web address, which raised suspicions. Their reluctance to provide this information led me to believe it was a scam, and I eventually ended the call. The entire experience was quite frustrating.
My friend answered a call from this number and replied yes to the first question, shortly after i recieved a scam call from barclays fraud dept, i was a bit short with them
