Council Scam Alert! - +44 20 4620 0638 (020 4620 0638)
Résumé — +442046200638
Avis d’expert
Verify any unsolicited calls claiming ties to housing or council services before engaging. Scammers often pose as officials to extract personal details or payments for fictitious repairs. Block the number immediately and report it to authorities like Action Fraud if suspicious. Never share sensitive information over the phone with unknowns. Use caller ID apps to flag potential fraudsters, and consider registering with the Telephone Preference Service to cut down on cold calls. Stay vigilant—legitimate organisations rarely cold call for urgent matters.

I couldn't even make out what the caller was saying.
They tried to pitch a housing association and council repair scam, clearly a cold call since I don’t rent my home. I’ve blocked the number now. Mate.

I didn't pick up because the number was unfamiliar, and I suspected it was some sort of scammer. Mate.
