They’re trying to harvest personal or financial details, so never give out information to an unsolicited number. Hang up, block the number on your handset and report it to the Information Commissioner’s Office or Action Fraud. If you’re a business, flag the number on internal spam lists and warn colleagues. Keep a record of the call – date, time and any reference they used – in case you need to follow up.

Caller named Laura asked for me by name. Definitely SPAM
Somone introduced themselves as Katy from CCA, asked for the managing director by name, but he didnt know them and they wouldn't leave a message
