A bogus caller pretended to be UKVI; I asked for an email confirmation and they hung up.
Fake UKVI Call Alert! - +44 20 3875 4669 (020 3875 4669)

専門家の見解
Rather unexpectedly, callers from this number are mimicking UKVI officials to dupe people into sharing personal details. These are classic scam tactics, often starting in Mandarin to target specific communities before switching languages. Victims report requests for updates on immigration documents, and when challenged—like asking for written confirmation—the callers abruptly hang up. The aggressive fraud signs, including fake government pretence, scream danger. Hang up immediately if you receive such a call; never provide info. Report to Action Fraud straight away to help curb these nuisances. Block the number and warn others—better safe than sorry in this dodgy telecom landscape.
