A poor connection with someone alleging to be from Google Maps. Due to the bad English, I couldn't understand much beyond his request for information before he disconnected. This number has contacted me more than five times in the past few days, so I chose to pick up on Sunday

They contacted me claiming to be from Google, wanting to confirm some details. After a minute, I realised they were asking for information already present on the business profile. When they requested to verify the business address, I confirmed it was correct, and they simply replied with 'ok bye'. I highly doubt it was actually Google and would suggest being cautious!
They refused to verify that they were Google.
On Sunday 21/07/24, I received a call from this number claiming to be about verifying a business on Google Maps, but the line quality was poor and the caller abruptly ended the conversation when I provided an unsatisfactory response.
The caller only confirmed details already available on the Google Business listing, lasting around 30 seconds.

On behalf of google, someone called to verify business opening times and adress, seemed legit and polite, didnt ask for any sensetive info
