전문가 의견
Yesterday afternoon, a flurry of reports flagged calls from +44 203 787 2898 as spam attempts, often pretending to be Domestic & General offering appliance insurance. Callers usually know recent purchases, use a Scottish or northern accent, and demand personal or banking details. If you don’t recognise the number, let it go to voicemail and block it – never share addresses, sort codes or card numbers. Register the number with your provider’s spam‑filtering service and report it to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Keep receipts handy to verify any legitimate warranty offers, and remember that reputable insurers rarely cold‑call for policy upgrades.
