Expert Opinion
Picture this: your phone rings with an automated voice claiming a lottery win from First Place Lotto. Sounds exciting, but it's a classic scam tactic to hook you with false prizes. These calls often push for personal details or payments to 'claim' winnings, risking identity theft or financial loss. Hang up immediately—never engage or share info. Report to Action Fraud or your network provider to block similar nuisances. Stay vigilant; genuine lotteries don't cold-call like this. If suspicious, verify independently through official channels to protect your data.
