Expertenmeinung
What could explain these persistent and suspicious calls from an unknown source? Reports indicate repeated attempts to engage, often posing as telecom representatives or abruptly disconnecting, which raises red flags for potential scam tactics. One instance mentioned O2, yet the recipient isn't a customer, suggesting impersonation to extract personal details or push unsolicited services. Silent calls followed by callbacks without clear intent further point to harassment or probing. To stay safe, always verify caller identity independently via official channels, block the number on your device, and report to your provider or Action Fraud. Enabling spam filters can prevent such nuisances, ensuring peace of mind amid rising telecom fraud.
