Identified as a hacker

Unclear which foreign tongue the poster below uses, but the Indian scammer on this line at least attempted English. Like any scam call, I text‑reported it to 7726. Guidance on reporting suspicious texts, emails, sites and ads is on the NCSC’s phishing‑scams page.

With a South Asian accent, these callers should be blocked.

Calls from an Indian call centre kept popping up at the same time, one claiming to be from home improvement and another pretending to be Currys. I put them on hold and wasted about 20 minutes of their time – they’re getting desperate as people learn about these scams.

Fraudulent home‑improvement scheme; received several harassing calls with a foreign accent and loud background noise typical of scam call centres. Blocked them after repeated abuse!

The caller had a strong accent that made it difficult to comprehend. There was an overwhelming amount of background noise as well. Clearly a scam! I ended the call and blocked the number.

Be cautious of unfamiliar callers, as they may store your information for malicious purposes. It's best to block this number, given the prevalence of scammers.

A call was received regarding alleged damage to my house, but when I informed them there was none, the line was terminated, and I blocked the number, as the caller's identity was unclear.
