I got annoyed when the caller, pretending to be from a BT and EE merger, tried another scam.
Got a cold call flagged as suspected spam by my carrier – a male with a heavy South Asian accent who called himself Mike. He claimed to be from EE, saying EE and BT had supposedly just merged (which hasn’t happened in nine years) and that they’d be upgrading my SIM. I told Mike to stop wasting both our time and hung up. Another dodgy, time‑wasting scammer – ignore, hang up, block. Cheers.
