A call arrived at 10:34 am today, but there was nobody on the other side, so I hung up.
I looked up the number before calling back and the automated reply said ‘energy department, press 1’, which clearly indicates a fresh scam.
The call went unanswered and was sent straight to voicemail, leaving no message – which always feels shady.
Turns out it was an energy scam; after checking this site I added the number to my block list.
