I hung up while she was speaking and checked the number via 1471, which matched the earlier call. My suggestion is to disconnect immediately upon recognizing the voice.

Confirmed as a scam after verifying with BT
Some lady with a NE accent rang, saying she's from BT, but I cut her off as she wouldn't stop talking
Although the call was missed, no message was left, but the number had previously offered special BT deals, and when asked for my account summary, the caller seemed unable to provide further information, prompting me to end the call.
