Received a call claiming to be from EDF about a smart meter appointment. They knew I was trying to schedule one and asked for the postcode where the meter would be fitted. They mentioned it didn't match their system and would send a confirmation text before hanging up

Today i recieved a silent call from 0191 543 3829, alot of previous calls have stopped just as i reach the phone, i have increassed my rating from harassing to dangerouse
They claim to be from EDF, but they want all my details and get angry when i refuse to give it
Suspicious activity occurred on 22/01/25 when this number rang at 11:40, only to disconnect upon answering machine activation, likely an attempt at harassment regarding smart meters, possibly driven by a lucrative incentive to accept them

This number have called me before and rang twice today, no messge was left, so i block it
Had a call from 1915433829 on 20/1 at around 11:35. The answering machine was on when they hung up. I checked the number using 1471.
Apparently, this number is used by EDF for smart meter installation, although they frequently call without leaving a message. As EDF also contacts me via email, I suspect this might be a scam, given that legitimate callers usually leave a voicemail. I intend to report this incident.
