This number keeps ringing repeadly
Pretending to be Scottish Power, they made several calls before I answered, at which point I told them to stop contacting me.

They keep phoning but never bother to leave a message
This number claimed to be from Sky. I instructed them to send me a letter instead.

The calls from this number were excessively repetitive
If an unknown number calls my private mobile and doesn't leave a voicemail, it's likely a scam. Report it to OFCOM by texting 7726. I learned this after surviving a massive scam in 2015 involving the US Pentagon and Scotland Yard. As a 60-year-old woman with disabilities, I'm sharing this to warn others about the long-term effects of falling victim to scams.

I am getting fed up with all these scam calls. How do they even get your number?
This number is used by Scottish Power for marketing. They've called four times. I rang back when the number wasn't identified as harrassing. You can opt out of future calls.
It's inadvisable to return calls from unknown numbers, as this could be a variant of the wangiri scam, which generates income for fraudsters without effort; it's unlikely that this call was genuinely from Scottish Power.
