Arnaque
The caller claimed we owed maintenance fees due to a cancelled membership, but when I requested written confirmation, they said they only operate verbally. I pointed out the inconsistency, and they eventually ended the call. Interestingly, they claimed the call was being recorded for legal reasons
After receiving four calls yesterday, I got two more today. I decided to return the call and managed to connect on my second attempt. They are reaching out to former timeshare clients claiming they owe maintenance fees, despite the company having gone bankrupt years ago, Club La Costa.
