Got the call just now. They inquired if I was Mr King; I replied no. Then they asked my name, so I asked theirs. He claimed to be my father and disconnected. Blocked them, though these nuisances switch numbers once one's worn out. Answering might just validate the line for resale to others. ####s

Bloke claimed he was from a PPI firm chasing a payout post-mortgage clearance... knew my name, address, postcode. Wanted my birth date... nah... Then said he wouldn't cough up £***... Fair enough, I've never even owned a mortgage

SCAM from 0161 560 9019; got five missed calls from it. When I rang back, it rang twice before switching to busy signal.
Pip refund fraud as noted. Mentioned an outdated mortgage and requested my contact details. I terminated the conversation.

Inquired about the person's identity on the line—I replied that since they dialled, they ought to know. They disconnected abruptly!
A women claimed to be from BT, telling me I was entitled to a big refund, so I hung up straight away, didnt want to give her no informations
After I picked up the phone, there was just silence, then a brief noise like a call centre, and they hung up, luckily I checked here and saw it was a bt refund scam, now the number is blocked
