Persistent calls from a pushy energy rep named Peter can feel downright intrusive, especially when they're ignored requests and rude interruptions. This setup screams unwanted telemarketing, where the caller bulldozes through objections to pitch deals. Key tip: hang up immediately and log the number on the Telephone Preference Service to curb such nuisances. If it escalates, report to Ofcom or Action Fraud for harassment tracking. Blocking the number helps short-term, but documenting dates and details strengthens any formal complaint. Stay firm—don't engage, as it only encourages more calls. Overall, these tactics erode trust in legitimate energy firms.

A representative from an energy supplier named Peter was extremely rude when I told him we’d already sorted our contract; he’s been phoning nonstop for weeks.
