Two calls came in – one at 8:35 pm on a Friday and another at 10:30 pm on a Monday. I let both go to voicemail, and a robot announced a confirmation code I supposedly requested, followed by several beeps, without stating which service the code related to, as the robot spoke before the recording could start.
After requesting a call from Coinbase, they rang straight away; a man called Paul sounded suspicious, claimed a potential fraud warning, and refused to reveal his location, so I hung up within a minute.
They claimed to be Coinbase support calling about a suspicious login from Dubai – definitely a scam.
Seems like a crypto or trading rip‑off tied to XtradeMax.com, Quantum AI and payments to Technosphere Solutions L, right?
Scammers claiming to be from Coinbase security. A man named David Watson mentioned a security breach linked to an iPhone 8 in the Netherlands. He attempted to get me to verify my account. Initially, the call showed as Private, but when I asked for the number in case of disconnection, this number was given. The call eventually dropped.
Based in Liverpool, this individual is masquerading as a representative of Coinbase, operating a fake website and distributing a bogus app via the play store - beware and report.
