Received a call offering discounted rates, they had all my details and quoted a 50% saving; when I asked for email confirmation they agreed and ended the call.
The caller claimed to be from BT, which raised my suspicion because a genuine BT line would be an 0800 number; they sent a code and asked me to read it back, then said no, and finally requested an email before hanging up.
A call claimed to be from RBS attempting to sell a product; I told them I was busy at work and hung up.

They've been dialing almost daily, sometimes twice, then either hang up or let a call centre background be heard.
I get one or two missed‑call alerts daily from this number; voicemail, when it appears, contains only background noise from a call centre – no actual message. If it’s EE or PlusNet they should leave a proper message; otherwise it feels like harassment.

Another unwanted call – I didn’t answer and got nothing. I’m fed up; these calls waste both time and bandwidth.
Over five consecutive days the line rang daily; the only time I was home, they pretended to be EE mobile. I’ve never been an EE customer, my landline is unlisted and on the TPS. It’s an aggravating nuisance that remains unchecked.
Regardless of whether the call was a legitimate EE/Plusnet inquiry or a scam, it’s become a real nuisance. Eight calls in two weeks forced us to block the number.

Today, I received a call from this number, claiming to be from EE with a mobile phone upgrade offer, which seemed suspicious since I am actually a Vodafone customer, leading me to believe it was a scam
The call from this number concerned a recent purchase of mine. Though initially skeptical, it proved to be a genuine business inquiry. The support team was both amiable and efficient, making me a satisfied customer.
