This is a CRS debt scam.
For the past four months I've been receiving texts stating I owe EE £2,000, even though I've never had an EE account. The messages now threaten to damage my credit rating. If anyone from CRS reads this, please note I've never held credit aside from a mortgage paid off twenty years ago and I don't own a credit card. I urge the police to intervene as this feels like extortion and intimidation, and perhaps the public will finally take notice.

Like several other reports, messages from ‘mycrs’ arrive daily with a fake reference number, urging me to call a listed number to settle an alleged Three debt. It is clearly a scam.
The site (mycrs.co.uk) lacks any physical landline, email or address – all classic red flags for a fake debt collector. Its AI‑driven chat offers only template replies, never a real person, and forces users to submit personal details to log in. After 21 days you can’t dispute the alleged debt, and they only send texts from 01422 746158. Other users confirm it’s a scam; definatly a scam; steer clear.
Daily texts from these fraudsters demand payment for a supposed Three bill – I’ve never owned a Three account and this has persisted for months.
