Silent rings followed by abrupt hang-ups from this number leave callers puzzled and frustrated, often hinting at aggressive sales tactics gone awry. Predominantly linked to Stoneacre, a legitimate car dealership network, these calls revolve around pushing service plans, gap insurance, and extended warranties shortly after vehicle purchases. While genuine, the relentless follow-ups—sometimes targeting multiple household members—cross into harassing territory for many recipients. Operatives appear target-driven, interrupting and hard-selling despite prior refusals. To manage this, register with the Telephone Preference Service promptly, block the number via your provider, and politely but firmly request removal from their lists. If persistence escalates, log complaints with the Information Commissioner's Office for potential breaches of data protection rules.

They claimed to be from Cannon help desk, called three or four times – oddly wondering how they sourced my landline and mobile, their number being 01405 806148.

Calls from Stoneacre sales, which definatly leave repeated, increasingly urgent and misleading messages that suggest a recent service, but when you call back they just try to sell you stuff.
Those folks at Stoneacre keep pushing gap insurance on me… they just won't quit, it seems. Bloody annoying.
