Pretending to be a mortgage advice bureau, they inquired about the mortgage on my parents' house. I have no clue how they obtained this information along with my phone number. They shouldn't be asking about their mortgage, especially when they aren't the advisors or lenders! Clearly, someone has sold them this information. My refusal to discuss any details made them upset.

Fortunately, I was unable to answer multiple calls from this number while I was working, and I've now blocked it.
They claimed to be from the Mortgage Advisory Service, saying they could save me money on my mortgage. The property address they provided has never belonged to me; as soon as I mentioned this, they hung up. The number is now blocked.

Having previosly reported scams to the authorities, I beleive it is essential for phone providers to take action, utilising tecnology to prevent the spoofing of numbers and protect peoples informations, this would require a collective effort from all providers to ensure the legitimacy of companies, thereby making our phones and online databases safer, I am marking this as dangerous due to the potential financial risks, unfortunatly we have opened a pandoras box.
Following a call from someone claiming to be David, I found the experience to be quite unsettling due to his abrupt and pushy mannerisms, and I didnt provide him with any informations as it seemed suspicious, eventualy he hung up on me, beware of this number as its a total scamm.
