Card Fraud Scam Exposed - +44 1273 609966 (01273 609966)

This caller claimed to be from Amex, stating my name and address. They mentioned fraudulent transactions on my card. After I didn’t answer initially, they called back twice, the last time from a private number. They said they would cancel my card and PIN and issue new ones. Inquired about other banking apps on my phone, but, as others have noted, they didn’t request my confidential information at that moment. Ultimately, they hung up.

Someone contacted me claiming to be from AMEX, stating that ther was still fraudulent activity on my account, despite my card being replaced, they didnt request any further details, I suspect this may be a scam and I will likely recieve a call from my bank in the coming days, I contacted AMEX to verify and they confirmed that no one had contacted me regarding my account

Multiple calls were received from this number claiming to be from Amex, with the caller making various claims about account activity and attempting to elicit information, but fortunately, no sensitive details were requested, and a subsequent check with Amex revealed no issues

Fraudsters posing as American Express called three times last night, following an earlier private number call. They claimed to be checking on fraudulent transactions but hung up when I questioned them. Another call today with different details, and they hung up again when I said I'd call back on the official fraud line. They provided a name and reference number.

It's alarming that this individual had access to my personal details, including phone number, address, date of birth, and certain transactions.

I fell prey to a TV Licensing scam. Entered my credit card information on a dodgy site, then got a call from this number earlier tonight asking for more details...

The scammer was very persuasive.
