A pleasant woman phoned representing Sovereign Network Group to conduct a survey on a complaint I'd lodged (which was real). She introduced herself as Lisa from Acuity. The call seemed genuine and secure—no requests for sensitive info, and she was fully aware of the details.

A chap rang rudely, saying he was doing a survey. When I declined interest and asked how he'd obtained my number, he got nasty and hung up. Suspect some digits were pinched or flogged by the housing association....

Con attempt. Utter nonsense.
Acuity firm contacting for Sovereign (SNG) Housing, inviting me to join a poll regarding recent property repairs, polite woman but I've done none, so puzzled. Appears genuine nonetheless.
Called three times without leaving a message. I called back and heard what seemed like a synthetic voice, expressing thanks for returning the call and stating they were from Acuity research, surveying for my landlord, and they might ring again.

Telecoms entity DIDWW in Ireland, running operations, has been issued alerts by Australia's telecom sector. Under section 122(2) of the 1997 Telecommunications Act, the Australian authorities formally warn DIDWW Ireland Ltd (Reg. 473521) at 10/13 Thomas Street, The Digital Hub, Dublin 8, Ireland. The ACMA, convinced of breaches to the Industry Code (C555:2017) on the Integrated Public Number Database (IPND Code), delivers this warning for violations of clauses 4.2.1 and 4.2.25.
